Kendal branch of Marsden building Society to close; agencies in Lancaster and Morecambe will also shut
THE Kendal branch of the Marsden Building Society, in Market Place, is to close on May 20 following a review of branches and agencies.
Members affected by the changes have been informed by a letter, which also explained the reasoning and the ways in which customers can continue to operate their savings and mortgage accounts, either remotely or through any other branch of the society.

A society spokesman said the decision to close the offices followed a steady decline in customer usage and an increase in the number of members choosing to operate their savings remotely.
Agencies in Lancaster and Morecambe are also to close.
