Booths commits to selling lambed reared in the UK
NORTH West food retailer Booths has renewed its commitment to exclusively sell lamb reared in the UK throughout the year.
Booths, which has stores in Kendal, Windermere, Kirkby Lonsdale, Milnthorpe and Carnforth, is the only significant retailer to stock Herdwick meat, the iconic breed reared on the Cumbrian fells.

When the season for Herdwick meat ends in the early summer, Booths works with local farmers, such as those around Morecambe Bay, to supply specialist saltmarsh lamb.
