BUSINESS minister Lord Young has visited an Ulverston LED company to observe how it is offering opportunities to young people.
Ulverston-based Marl International offers apprenticeships and graduate opportunities.
Lord Young said: “It is encouraging to see a successful company taking advantage of the demand for energy efficient, low carbon products. Marl International has a clear commitment to ensuring there is an abundance of high level skills in this sector for years to come, and should be an example to all.”
