A GRANGE after sales team has been named Volkswagen’s best in the UK for the second year in a row.

As well as bagging a brace of Service Quality Awards in the last two years, Hadwins in Lindale was named one of the 100 best dealerships in Europe.

Hadwins beat 254 other Volkswagen dealerships in the UK and around 3,500 on the continent to scoop the honours.

Hadwins was rewarded for the amount of cars they fix first time, as well as being measured against a number of customer satisfaction questions, including whether patrons would recommend Hadwins to a friend.

“We’re really pleased with the achievement,” said Hadwins’ Paul Satterthwaite.

“It makes such a difference when people are buying cars. They know they’re going to get a quality service.”

Mr Satterthwaite said Hadwins dedication had cascaded down from MD Roy Allan to everyone in the 27-strong after sales team.

“Everyone makes sure that our customers are happy. It’s great to have worked as a team to achieve this. Our number one priority is making sure every customer is happy,” he said, adding the dealership was “on track” in 2009 to make it a hat-trick of Service Quality Awards.
