Stars shine in Young Enterprise final

Students from Dowdales School, Dalton, were tonight crowned as winners of the Young Enterprise South Cumbria area.

Youngsters who formed their own business, called Stars, beat off stiff competition from ten other Young Enterprise teams to win the area final, held at Kendal Town Hall.

They will represent the south of the county at the Cumbria final, due to be held at Carlisle Carecourse on May 8.

Joining them as area runners-up will Casterton School students who ran their own business, trading as Inertia.
