Two special evenings of classical music by the Locrian Ensemble, directed by the renowned Justine Pearson, are taking place at the Ashcroft Theatre next month.
Two concerts featuring music by two popular composers, Handel and Vivaldi, will be performed by London's premiere string soloists.
Both will be performed against eye-catching baroque scenery, complete with candelabra, with musicians dressed in lavish period costumes.
Handel by Candle will take place on Monday, September 3, at 7.45pm.
It will include selections from Water Music, The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Concerto Grosso and the Harp Concerto.
Vivaldi by Candlelight is on Tuesday, September 11, at 7.45pm and will feature The Four Seasons and Concerto for Two Violins.
Tickets are priced £10 and £12 and are available from the Fairfield Box Office on 0208 688 9291.
