Sending Photos and Video Clips from your Mobile

From your mobile you can send us your short video clips and pictures by:
1. Simply starting the message by entering the keyword KENEWS, leave a space and then key in description of your picture or video and your name, contact details.
2. Then send it to 07834 487010 (make sure your picture or video is attached!).
We will send it to the Web Editor, whose decision about use is final.
This service is FREE ,but you may be charged at your normal mobile operator rate. Service provided by Newsquest Media Group.

Send in video clips to the Web Editor on CD/DVD/email attachment: as MP4 file, preferably in QuickTime format, and include all relevant production, copyright details. Also, we need an image in jpg format to upload with the video clip. Less is more. We prefer 1 - 3 minute clips. If you have a photo of a news event you want us to look at for posting in the Public Gallery and possible use in News sections, please send it to the Web Editor kate.whiteside@kendal.newsquest.co.uk in jpg format 72 pixels per inch.
Please include all your contact details and a description of the time and location of the event. Editor's decision final.

Photos, sized to 72 pixels per inch, and video clips (smaller than 2 mbs) can also be emailed to the Web Editor or sent in on CD to the Web Editor, The Westmorland Gazette, 1 Wainwright’s Yard, Kendal LA9 4DP, or dropped off at any of our offices (Kendal, Ulverston, Lancaster).
