Northumberland Tourism has launched a new website dedicated to Hadrian’s Wall country – www.hadrianswall-northumberland.com The site has been developed to mark the Hadrian: Empire and Conflict Exhibition at the British Museum, which runs until Oct. 26, 2008.

Walk with a buggy

PARENTS are being urged to bring a buggy on a special high-level walk for people who are less mobile. The guided walk around Blea Tarn, near Great Langdale, is being organised by the National Trust as part of the Fix the Fells project which aims to restore upland paths in the Lake District.
