DOUBLE bass prodigy Harrison Wood has received national praise for his achievements.
The award winning Lancaster-based teen plays bass for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Halle Youth Orchestra and in jazz quartet Day and Night.
Following a recent interview with Bass Guitar Magazine, editor Nick Wells said: "Harrison is fast becoming one of the most talked about young bass players today.
"It's rare to find a young bassist who has equal facility on both the bass guitar and the upright bass and in that respect Harrison is among a select few.
“His achievements at RNCM underline his enormous potential."
