NORTH Westmorland Arts hosts Northern Sinfonia’s first appearance in Appleby on Sunday (March 28, 7.30pm).
Led by Kyra Humphreys, 16 of the highly-regarded orchestra’s principal string and wind players combine for the public hall show in a variety of ensembles to perform works by Brahms, Britten, Mozart and Shostakovich.
Northern Sinfonia enjoys an international reputation for the range and depth of its repertoire and is Classic FM’s orchestra in the North East, presenting exclusive broadcasts and live performances at The Sage Gateshead.
