ANNIE Mawson’s excellent Sunbeams Music Trust is staging two fund-raising concerts this month.
The award-winning charity - which helps disadvantaged individuals improve their quality of life and self-esteem through the creative freedom of music - hosts the Sacconi String Quartet and supreme cellists Guy Johnston and Justin Pearson, at Tirril Village Hall, near Penrith, on Friday, September 17 (7.30pm), and St Martin’s Church, Bowness, the night after (September 18).
The Saturday performance (7.30pm) also includes pianist Katherine Rockhill.
