PASTEL drawings of some of Britain’s favourite butterflies will be on display in the much awaited Ulverston Society of Artists Charter Exhibition. Running from Thursday-Saturday, September 10-12, at Ulverston's Coronation Hall, included will be work by well-known Pennington artist Solveig Cardew, whose art includes two pictures which are part of a series by Solveig to supplement her Alphabet of Moths and Butterflies. Open 9.30am-5pm (4.30pm, Saturday).
