AMONG the 53 watercolours selected for this year's Sunday Times Watercolour Competition is Stefan Orlowski's The Tear and the Tread.
A gifted young artist with huge potential, Ulverston-based Stefan's painting will be on show with the other shortlisted works at London's Mall Galleries, from September 19-24.
The largest and most prestigious prize for contemporary watercolour painting in the UK, first prize is £10,000. Winners will be published in the Sunday Times on August 28.
