One of the screen prints of the Brewery buildings featured in Tom Harforth's Structure of Decay exhibition which runs at the Kendal art centre until July 22
A NEW series of work by a rising talent of printmaking that charts the journey of the Brewery Arts Centre's buildings over the past 40 years is on show at the Kendal arts centre.
Running until July 22, Tom Harforth's Structure of Decay is imagery from the Brewery’s own photographic archive. Tom says that he's taken a range of architectural images, those of which were appropriate to his practice of depicting the urban decay of structures. He adds: "I have then developed a process by exploring with the senses, in particular with the textures, to produce this group of one off, sculptural screen prints."
