HANS Ullrich’s Gallery 117 is staging a new contemporary art exhibition.
The show, which runs at the Highgate located art house, in Kendal, opposite the Brewery Arts Centre, until January 31, features work by some of the region’s finest as well as new artists and recent graduates.
Included are Danny Clahane’s stone sculptures, birdlife by Fiona Clucas, Eva Ullrich’s bold abstractions, large colourful flower paintings by Tina Balmer and the mixed media work of Nancy and Lynda Gray as well as paintings by Annie Hudson and George Cannon.
Ceramics include large smoked fired pots by Karen Williamson, carved porcelain bowls from Jane Smith, and the decorative domestic slipware by the gallery owner himself, Hans Ullrich. Tiles from the distinguished Maggie Berkowitz are also featured.
Open 11am-6pm until Christmas; in January, Wednesday-Saturday.
