HIGHLY regarded local artist Chris Rigby has been selected from nigh on 2,000 artists from across Europe and the UK to have their work shown in the 2018 Columbia Threadneedle Prize: Figurative Art Today exhibition running at London's Mall Galleries until February 17. The Columbia Threadneedle Prize is Europe’s leading open competition for figurative and representational art and, with a £20,000 prize for the winner, is one of the nation's most valuable. Kirkby Lonsdale based-artist Chris's All The Lights Green oil painting was chosen from more than 4,000 entries viewed by the panel of selectors. The winner is also awarded their own solo exhibition in the Threadneedle Space at Mall Galleries.
