CUMBRIAN producers have put their produce on show in London at an exhibition.
Ulverston lighting specialist Forge Europa hosted the event, Celebrating Cumbria’s Finest, to highlight the county as a hot-spot for traditional and cutting-edge manufacture.
Sales manager Ian Dixon said: “At Forge Europa we are incredibly proud of our Cumbrian heritage and wanted to share this with our customers.
“We are also keen to show that Cumbria is more than a beautiful place to visit, and is home to Britain’s Energy Coast: a centre of excellence for leading high technology products and solutions that have national and global significance.”
Forge Europa’s Light Ale, created for the event with the Ulverston Brewing Company, was sampled by Londoners at the event, along with Forge Europa Kendal Mint Cake, developed by Kendal manufacturer Romney’s. There was also a menu including Cumbrian meat and cheese platters with preserves from Hawkshead Relish.
