Ideally situated for catching all the action over the Windermere Airshow weekend on July 26 and 27, Linthwaite House Hotel is offering keen aviation enthusiasts, and gourmets alike, the opportunity savour one of most impressive air displays in the World.

With prime seats on the outdoor terrace offering unadulterated views of the Lakes, surrounding skies and mouth-dropping acrobatic aircraft manoeuvres, Linthwaite House Hotel's Red Arrow Lunch' has been patriotically designed to complement this remarkable display with a long leisurely lunch of the very best of British fare.

Welcomed by chilled glass of Pimms, guests will then take their very comfortable seat on the terrace. Tucking into the likes of pressed ham hock terrine with fresh garden peas and grilled English pears and locally sourced Lancashire styled loin of lamb in a tasty jus, as magnificent men in their flying machines soar above. The 3 course lunch, including welcome drink, costs £25/person.

As sponsors of the Windermere Airshow, Linthwaite House Hotel will be donating £5 from each lunch to the organisers, the Rotary Club of Windermere and the RAF, to ensure that this magnificent display continues.
