Last Friday we heard the results to this year’s Cumbria in Bloom awards. For the third year running we have exceeded all expectations – Best Large Town in Cumbria and Best Town and Urban District!

Kendal Town make us proud

Last Wednesday, Sasha and I went along to the Lakeland radio stadium home of Kendal Town football club. The evening proved to be very exciting. Premier club Sunderland had come all the way to Kendal for a pre season friendly.

It seems ages since I sat here and updated my Blog. I have been away on a family holiday; we all managed to have a fun, relaxing time in the sun. We tried to bring some sun home with us but unfortunately Toby couldn’t get it in his suit case!
