TAFFY Thomas has been busy putting together two books to mark the centenary of the beginning of World War One. The Grasmere storyteller has worked with author Helen Watts on the The Ghost of the Trenches, due to be published by The Bloomsbury Group in April, and Folk Tales of World War One out in August on The History Press. Taffy has also penned the first of a series of seasonal folk tales, Midwinter Folk Tales, due out in November also on The History Press.
Meanwhile, Taffy continues to spin his yarns at The Watermill Inn, at Ings, as part of the South Lakeland Storytelling Club, on the first Tuesday of each month.
