Winnie-the-Pooh: The Best Bear in all the World, £14.99

A A Milne’s stories about Pooh and his friends have been loved by generations of children and their parents ever since they were first published in 1926. To celebrate Pooh’s 90th anniversary well known children’s authors Paul Bright, Brian Sibley, Kate Saunders and Jeanne Willis have written four new stories, one for each season of the year. Each story is illustrated with warmth in the style of E H Shepard’s original artwork by Mark Burgess.

This is a delightful continuation of the classic tales that is sure to appeal to just about anyone. My favourite is Spring in which Eyeore suspects another donkey is after his thistles. This is a gorgeous story which will have you chuckling with enjoyment as you are transported back to Hundred Acre Wood.

A definite must for all fans of Winnie-the-Pooh!
