A RE-PUBLICATION of some of the works by the famous author of Swallows and Amazons has been released.
'Old Peter's Russian Tales' and 'The Battle of the Birds and the Beasts' have been brought together in a centenary reprint to create the first combined version of Arthur Ransome's Russian Folklore.
The new release, which includes an introduction by Ransome's great-nephew Hugh Lupton, has been published by the Arthur Ransome Trust.
Copies cost £9 and are available from www.arthur-ransome-trust.org.uk
