CREATOR of the well-known Charlie Parker thrillers is heading to Kendal. Bestselling author John Connolly visits Kendal Library on September 15 (7pm), to talk about his new novel, the Wrath of Angels. John has written 16 books, including The Book of Lost Things, and the short story volume, Nocturnes. He is the first non-American writer to win the US Shamus award and in 2007 was awarded the Irish Post Award for Literature. Tickets from the library.
