A WINDERMERE film company is calling for musicians to put a track to their atmospheric short film.
The music video (currently) without the music was shot over two days on Lake Windermere with a boat, small cast and crew and 2,000 daffodils.
The company behind it, Dreamtime Film, is offering to edit a music video free of charge to the band/musician whose track best fits the footage.
Producer Tom Lloyd said: “I’m open to any kind of genre – it could be indie, dance - anything so long as it’s sympathetic to the story.”
Tom said the inspiration for the film came from ‘years ago, when I saw a daffodil tree someone had made by tying hundreds of them to the branches’.
It depicts a young man and girl on a houseboat harvesting spring flowers from the lake to create a flowering tree.
The film captures the panoramic landscapes of Windermere and the fells and is shot in slow motion for a ‘dream-like quality’.
Tracks can be submitted via YouTube or Soundcloud and must be under four minutes long.
The Closing date for entries is 9am on March 15 – for more details go to www.dreamtimefilm.co.uk .
