KENDAL Jazz Club’s next gig features the highly respected sax and clarinet maestro Steve Andrews leading the Swing City Trio.
The Wednesday, April 9 (8pm), show at Hawkshead Brewery, Staveley, sees the popular threesome augmented to a quartet by the inclusion of Newcastle-based pianist Paul Edis adding another entertaining dimension to the trio’s hard-swinging exploration of 1930s/40s jazz.
