TWELVE of the best young musicians in Cumbria take part in the preliminary round of this year's prestigious Keldwyth Award at Kendal Town Hall on Monday (July 7).
Starting at 10am the event runs until 4pm when the names of the four finalists will be announced. The final will be held at the Victoria Hall, Grange-over-Sands, on Friday, September 5 (7.30pm).
Last year’s winner was oboe player Alex Hilton.
