THE King’s Head in Ulverston will be hosting an all day music festival with King Fest on Saturday.
“We have over 20 local musicians playing on the specially built stage in our new beer garden,” said Anoushka Anderson, licensee of the pub.
“From 12 noon until 10pm, we’ll have everything from acoustic folk to a ukulele band, so there’s bound to be something for everyone.”
One of the main attractions is Anita Rose, who regularly supports some of the biggest headliners in the country, including Jane McDonald, the Beautiful South and the Puppini Sisters.
“It also helps that she’s my mum,” Anoushka added.
The festival is to raise as much money as possible for a local charity, and co-host, local musician Bob Bell, will be raffling off a guitar at the end of the night.
