THIS year's Keldwyth Award Final was held at Grange-over-Sands' Victoria Hall.
The Reg Griffiths Trophy and cheque for £1,000 was won by 22-year-old percussionist Taneli Clarke of High Carley, near Ulverston.
Runners up, who each received a cheque for £250, were saxophone player Faye Lewis, 22, of Swarthmoor; mezzo-soprano Amy Shaw, 21, of Dalton, and 19-year-old Kendal violinist Heather Storer.
