WORLD-class orchestra the Brussels Philharmonic is to make its first visit to Carlisle on November 29.
Founded in 1935, the orchestra has performed with many great conductors and soloists.
It will be joined at the Sands Centre by violin soloist Alexander Sitkovetsky, who made his concerto debut at the age of eight and has performed with the Royal Philharmonic and the BBC Concert Orchestra, among others.
The programme will feature Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, Bruch’s Violin Concerto and Saint-Saëns' Symphony No.3.
