FROM The Jam, featuring former The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and Russell Hastings are coming to The Platform, Morecambe on March 19, 2016 with their ‘That’s Entertainment’ Acoustic Tour.

Bruce and Russell, joined on stage by pianist Tom Heel, will perform a selection of songs from The Jam’s extensive back catalogue as well as handing over the microphone to the audience for a question and answer session.

The Jam were the sound of the British youth in the late 70s and this intimate show is a rare opportunity to hear those songs in this stripped down way.

“We played some acoustic shows last year and it was a revelation how well the songs work acoustically” says Bruce. “It’s a testament to a good song that they have stood the test of time and don’t need a full band and big production in order to work so well.”

Audiences can expect to hear classics such as Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, Going Underground, Town Called Malice and The Modern World as well as favourites including Strange Town, When You’re Young and Start.
