K SHOES Male Voice Choir is looking for "blokes who want to sing" through its new high profile recruiting strategy and Famous Names concert series. Bedecked in smart charcoal suits (supplied by the choir) and new shoes (supplied by Clarkes, naturally), K Shoes MVC presents its inaugural Famous Names concert with the internationally-acclaimed The King's Singers (together with Kendal's Queen Katherine School's Man Band) at Kendal Leisure Centre's Westmorland Hall on November 6. Prior to the concert The King's Singers will work with both choirs in a workshop and K Shoes are offering limited places to men who would like to be a part of the workshop and the concert. No experience is necessary as there will be rehearsals throughout October with expert tuition and resources supplied by the choir's conductor, ex-Sergeant Major Ian Allan. To book a place and for further information telephone 015395-83320 or email ian@ianallan.net.
