FOLLOWING its Off-Broadway New York success, and acclaimed UK season at The Epstein Theatre in Liverpool, the smash hit show, Lennon: Through A Glass Onion, plays Preston Guild Hall on Friday and Saturday (September 2/3 (7.30pm evening performances, plus 2.30pm Saturday show).

The production celebrates the genius, music and phenomenon of Beatles legend John Lennon with Liverpool actor Daniel Taylor in the lead role. Daniel has won critical acclaim as the lead role in the Tommy Cooper Show and is also starring as Mickey in Down The Dock Road. Daniel will be joined by accompanist Stewart D’Arrietta. Inspired by the song Glass Onion, which was John Lennon’s postscript to The Beatles, the show peels away the layers of time and myth to offer insight into the life and astonishing talent of one of the world’s most treasured icons.

Written by John Waters the production is part-concert, part-biography and features 31 of Lennon hits and collaborations with Paul McCartney, including Imagine, Strawberry Fields Forever, Revolution, Woman, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Working Class Hero, and Jealous Guy.
