CONCERTO Cristofori presents Auld Scottish Songs - settings by Haydn and Beethoven, for Kendal Midday Concert Club at Kendal Town Hall on Wednesday, January 25 (1pm).
Formed in 2001, the group is named after Bartolomeo Cristofori, the inventor of the fortepiano, and has appeared on BBC Radio 3 and performed all across the UK. The ensemble includes founder member Sharona Joshua (pictured), fortepiano and harpsichordist, who appears regularly as soloist, chamber musician and continuo player.
