TOP 1960s band The Hollies are not only still recording but touring – and have been booked to play in Carlisle.
The band’s highly polished live perfor-mances are packed with pure Hollies trademark harmonies coupled with sheer musical prowess, each song showcased by its own stunning light show.
As well as material from their new CD, Then, Now, Always, the band – which includes original members Tony Hicks and drummer Bobby Elliott in the line-up - performs anthems such as The Air That I Breathe.
* The Hollies play The Sands Centre at Carlisle on Saturday, March 6 (7.30pm). Box office 01228-625222.
