Haffner Orchestra flautist Christine Lorriman is soloist for next concert

WORKS by J S Bach, Dvořák, Serenade in E flat major (first movement) by Suk and Beethoven’s Symphony No 8 in F major feature in Saturday’s (June 23, 7.30pm) Haffner Orchestra concert at Lancaster’s Ashton Hall. Soloist will Christine Lorriman, who has been principal flautist with the Haffner for 14 years. As well as conduct, the Haffner’s Natalia Luis-Bassa will give a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm.
