Flutes and Co stage Essentially English at Cartmel Priory

SUZANNE de Lozey’s Flutes and Co return to the performance platform this weekend at Cartmel Priory (Saturday, July 7, 7.30pm) with a programme of Essentially English.
Led by Libby Gibson (her last concert with the ensemble before heading off to Oxford), the ensemble plays items such as Elgar's Enigma Variations, Handel's Royal Fireworks Overture, Holst's I'll love my love, Andersen's Allegro Militaire, four piccolos playing Widor's Toccata, and the UK premiere of John Carmichael's Escapades for flute orchestra.
