BACH’S Mass in B minor provides the festival prelude for this year’s Lake District Summer Music.
Staged at Kendal Parish Church on Thursday, July 12 (7.15pm), the monumental curtain raiser will be performed by the University of Utrecht Choir and Orchestra and four leading soloists - soprano, Nienke Otten; alto, Annelies van der Vlies; tenor, Dolf Drabbels and bass, Joep van Geffen. LDSM runs from July 28-August 12.
