'Daydreams and Nightmares'

This all girl band from Sweden have ceated an indie pop album infused with energy and charm but little depth.

Those Dancing Days are a 5 piece band from the suburbs of Sweden and this, their third album, contains a plethora of punchy indie pop records.

Rising synths and driving basslines help create a distinctive 80's feel to lead single 'Cant find entrance' described by word magazine as a 'massively cheered up love will tear us apart.' Thundering drums and angular guitars bookend the album while the soaring choruses led by singer linnea Jonsson lend an anthemic quality to many of the songs.

However there is only so much pounding indie pop I can take and the album fails to provide much variation. After listening to the album the whole way through I began to find the experience somewhat relentless and I was only too pleased when the last track finished and I was met by the sound of silence.
