THE Band of the Royal Armoured Corps is bound for Lakes Leisure Kendal on Saturday, September 6 (7.30pm).
One of the Army’s leading bands, the acclaimed musical outfit perform a Gala Charity Concert organised the Rotary clubs of Kendal and Ambleside.
The band itself was formed earlier this year and succeeds the bands of the Heavy and Light Cavalry.
Led by Major Mark Aldridge, the ensemble comprises 35 full-time, professional musicians who can perform as a marching band, a stage band, a big band and pop group.
