FOLLOWING its successful Opera Gala, Grange-over-Sands Concert Club hosts another impressive line-up of musical talent on Friday, June 5 (8pm) at the Victoria Hall, when Trio Isimsiz (which means 'without a name ' in Turkish) performs Haydn's Piano Trio no 43 in C major, James Macmillan's Piano trio: 14 Little Pictures, and Beethoven's Piano Trio in B flat The Archduke. Formed in 2009 at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, all three trio members have enjoyed success individually - pianist, Erdem Misirlioglu, was a concerto finalist in the BBC Young Musicians Competition in 2008; violinist, Pablo Hernán Benedí is a member of the Chiaroscuro Quartet; and cellist, Michael Petrov, represents the UK in the European Concert Halls Organisation Rising Star series.
