SOUTH Cumbrian-born band British Sea Power have been announced as headliners at this year's Lindisfarne Festival on the Northumberland coast.
The band - three of whom grew up in Natland near Kendal before moving down to Brighton to start their musical careers - will play the Friday night headline slot on September 2.
Lindisfarne Festival is in its second year of operation, after a successful debut event last year.
Alongside the music, attendees can indulge themselves in high quality local food and ale, holistic therapies and creative workshops in addition to a comedy and poetry tent.
The festival will be open from September 1 - 4 and tickets for the weekend cost £85.
Individual day tickets can be purchased for £50.
