A SOUTH Lakes band with an established history in the area are set to reform to celebrate their original formation 20 years ago.
The Dangerous Brothers, whose members hail from Kendal, Coniston and Windermere, will play at Coronation Hall in Ulverston on August 13.
They will be supported by Ulverston band Stainless, and all proceeds from the night will go towards St Mary's Hospice and The Firefighters Charity.
William Watson, who plays rhythm guitar in the band, said: "We used to play a lot around the north west area after we formed 20 years ago.
"We are all still in contact and we all have our gear and can just about limp on stage so we though we'd reform with the original lineup.
"The idea happened by chance really. One of us was celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary and we remembered that our first gig was at his stag do.
"We just thought that we should play again. It's all about fun so we might do some more gigs in the future. It's not about money so we can just pick and choose what we want."
