ONE of the most popular duos in folk music will be playing in Morecambe as they tour in celebration of 21 years together.

Belshazzar's Feast will be taking their popular seasonal show on tour in November and December this year, offering up their usual mix of traditional folk music, jazz, music hall and classical.

To top it all off the band incorporate humour into their show to create their trademark live show.

Comprising Paul Hutchinson (Hoover The Dog, Pagoda Project) and Paul Sartin (Bellowhead, Faustus), Belshazzar's Feast have a coveted nomination for the Best Duo Award at the 2010 BBC Folk Awards and are regulars at folk festivals across the summer. Their schedule often includes a popular annual Christmas tour of seasonal songs and tunes. They also have appearances on BBC Radio 2 and 3 under their belt.

They have released a series of critically acclaimed albums across their career, the latest being The Whiting’s On The Wall (2014/Unearthed), a live album recorded over the course of two concerts at The Pound in Corsham.

Belshazzar's Feast will play at The Hothouse, Morecambe on December 4.
