A RISING star of violin takes the guest spot in the next Pro Nobis Singers concert at St Mark's Church, Natland.
Alistair Burton will play Johan Svendsen's popular Romance in the choir's Music from Northern Lands programme on Saturday, June 17 (7.30pm) in which Clive Walkley's highly regarded choristers perform choral music from Scandinavian countries and the Baltic states of Latvia and Estonia.

Alistair - a year 11 student at Kirkby Lonsdale's Queen Elizabeth School and attends the Royal Northern College on Saturdays - won the Jim Noble Award at this year's Mary Wakefield Westmorland Music Festival.
