PRO Nobis Singers are in fine voice and rehearsing for their 2018 spring and summer concerts. However, 2019 is already in their sights - the choir's 50th birthday.
Pro Nobis was formed in 1969 by conductor, Clive Walkley, who lectured at the former Charlotte Mason College at Ambleside. The choir started as an informal group of friends singing madrigals for themselves but expanded and has since gone on to be one of Cumbria's most highly regarded choral ensembles.
The choir has vacancies in all departments and welcomes applications from experienced singers. Anyone interested should contact Clive on 01539-723482. Further details are also available on the choir’s website at www.pronobis-singers.com.
