Lakeland Sinfonia series opens New Year with BBC Philharmonic world premiere

THE acclaimed BBC Philharmonic perform at Lakes Leisure Kendal on Saturday, January 14 (7.30pm) as part of the Lakeland Sinfonia Concert Society series.
Conducted by Garry Walker, the programme features the world premiere of Maurizo Malagnini’s fell running inspired work Feet in the Clouds as well as Elgar’s powerful Symphony No 1.
Hot on its heels on February 25, the Halle will share the Westmorland Hall stage with dynamic violinist Nicola Benedetti.
