MOZART’S much-loved Requiem is the focus of Ambleside Choral Society's spring concert on Saturday, April 28 (7.30pm) at Ambleside Parish Church.
The choir will also perform the so-called Little Organ Mass by Haydn and shorter works by both Mozart and Haydn. Under their esteemed conductor Jolyon Dodgson, the popular choristers will be joined by well-known professional soloists, soprano, Julie Harvey; alto, Amy Shaw; tenor, Robert Thompson and bass, Jonathan Millican along with the South Cumbria Ensemble, accompanied by organist Ian Thompson.
