ULVERSTON Choral Society is joining forces with Arnside Choral Society and the Milli Youth Choir to perform Carl Orff's spectacular creation Carmina Burana and the popular Faure Requiem. Under their respective directors - Jolyon Dodgson, Ian Allan and Tracie Penwarden - the choirs performances will be on Saturday, May 12, at the Victoria Hall in Grange-over-Sands and on Saturday, May 19, at Ulverston's Coronation Hall.
Soloists will be soprano, Tracie Penwarden, tenor, Michael Deakin and baritone, Jonathan Millican, alongside pianists Ken Forster and David Battersby, plus a battery of percussion players.
Both concerts start at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from choir members, the Coronation Hall, Grange Tourist Information and at the door.
