STAVELEY Choral Society and Kendal Concert Band team up for a Last Night of the Proms concert on Saturday, October 12 (7.30pm) at St Martins Church, Bowness.
The programme will include Zadok the Priest and the Halleluiah Chorus. Settle-based baritone David Ree-Jones will be the soloist (previously seen at Staveley Choral Society's The Lake School performance of Carmina Burana earlier this year). The second half features a tremendous - and traditional - selection of Last Night of the Proms music and singing.
