PARADE: Father Christmas and his helpers have to grin and ‘bear’ it with an extra passenger in the Kirkby Lonsdale parade
YULETIDE cheer filled the Lunesdale air as hundreds of people crowded into Kirkby Lonsdale’s town centre for the annual Christmas Fayre.
The showcase of festive shopping, food and drink, music and entertainment aimed to kick off the town’s Christmas season.
Crowds enjoyed the sounds of Scottish pipers and Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band, which led Santa Claus and his helpers through the town centre ahead of lights switch-on ceremonies on both Saturday and Sunday.
